Powering Tyranny

Tyranny means a cruel use of power. Also having a good conscience means that a person has a good motive.What I think of this qoute is that the people that use crualty for power to gain the the people with a good conscience to remain silent and to not over power them.

Genocide Today?

Genocide is all over the world like what happened to the Jewish people during the holocaust. Also there is another type of genocide that is happening today, like the genocide in dalfor  where over 2,000,000 people are dying every day. The genocide happened when a army from a different part of south Africa came to take over there land. I think history repeats itself so we can find out how it felt in the past and learn from it for he future.

Nearing The End

The holocaust ended when the American , British, and Russian won the world war 2. And what happened to Hitler was that he shooted himself in the mouth with a pistol and was burned in a garden with his wife.

Title Night

I think Wiesel's reason was to tell people what happened to him, his family, and other Jews that he met during the holocaust and how it was a bad time for the Jews, and also his experience. The word Night for this book makes me think that it was a horrible for the Jews and how most of the killing was done at night. Also it makes me feel sad, angry, and disturbed when I read these book

Meaning Nazi Symbol

The original meaning for the nazi symbol was swastika in india meaning "good to be''. The meaning of the symbol changed because germany wasn't a unified country yet around 1871, so they used the symbol because it aryan/indian origins and germanic/aryan history. Now the swastika symbol means hate and death because  the nazis used it but it also still stands for life and good luck in a different way.

History is worth studying

I think history is worth studying because we can learn what happened in the past so that it won't happen again in the futuer  and that we can investigate a special event that happened in the pastand learn more about it and what happend.

Of Mice & Men

George was not justified in killing Lennie because, when Lennie killed Curly's wife everyone except George and Slim wanted to kill him and Curly said that he was going to shot his guts out so I wouldn't think that George was justified in killing Lennie.
